Being true to your art

I think one of the hardest things to do in this world is to be true to ones craft. There will always be people out there who will tell you how to do it different or how to make your product better. The thing is it your product not theirs. At some point an idea popped into your head and you decided to run with it and what materializes is what was meant to be. I personally love hand made items that have slight imperfections, I believe it shows off their "personality". It is always going to be easy for people on the outside looking in to judge but the bottom line is its your creation. You dreamed it up, brought it to life and allowed your vision to grow and flourish until you have created something unique to you, your style and your vison. The wonderful and beautiful thing about Hand-made works of art, and make no mistake your creations are art, is that no two pieces are ever the same. It is amazing to me how creative we can be when we just relax our minds and let the ideas flow. So I guess the point of this post is simply, Be true to yourself and your art. You are unique and so are the gloriously beautiful things you bring to life.
